The tasks a Field Technician: Other Home Appliances is expected to perform include:
- Installing the newly purchased appliance
- Diagnosing the problem for a malfunction
- Assessing possible causes
- Rectifying minor problems
- Replacing faulty modules for failed parts
- Recommending factory repairs for bigger faults

KEY COMPETENCIES:

- Knowledge of company & products and recurring problems reported in consumer appliances
- Well-versed on how to communicate with customers in order to put them at ease
- Proficient in basic electrical and mechanical modules of various appliances
- Familiar with models of different appliances and their common and distinguishing features
- Adept in precautions to be taken while handling field calls and dealing with customers
- Familiar with the etiquette to be followed at customers premises
- Knowledge of functionality of different features of appliances and new features
